The Washington Monument
 As has already been pointed out, the image of an obelisk is contained within the vertical axis of the cathedral plan. It was noted at that time, that the monument is located at the 9th sphere, sphere of the moon, correlating to the crypt in churches and cathedrals; and that, while the lines on the cathedral plan stop at floor level, the monument continues below that. This is because 36 feet and 10 incehes of that are below ground level at DC.
 It has also been pointed out previously that the Tree of Life is ten derived from One, while the ratio of the sides of the base to the monument's height is 1:10, just as Egyptian obelisks were. The form of the tree that best fits this structure is Pike's version (below), composed of six triangles and a line (seven elements), from "Morals and Dogma".
